"I accompanied my uncle who has Down Syndrome to an appointment at Ticho Eye Associates and was so impressed with the care they provided. Dr. Strako has a great bedside manner and was made my uncle feel very comfortable during his visit. The staff member who really stuck out during the visit was Bella, one of the technicians in the office. She was exceptionally kind and accommodating, treating my uncle with dignity and patience. Thanks Dr. Ticho and Bella for making a visit that might otherwise be difficult and anxiety-ridden, an easy and pleasant experience!"

"My son has been a patient of Dr. Ticho for 12 years. We started at the Chicago Ridge location but switched to Tinley Park when that location opened and have been going there ever since! He has seen Dr. Strako the last few years and we like him just as much as we liked Dr. Ticho! This year he decided he wanted to try contacts. Both doctors always told me the child will let us know when they are ready to try contacts so we never pushed it. He went to his first contact class 2 weeks ago with Maria. She was very patient and nice. She worked hard with him and he was so close to getting the right contact in. She said he is going to get it next time. We booked the next class and she said she wouldn’t be in Tinley Park that day but that everyone is great. We needed to order sports goggles as a back up but they didn’t have his size to try on. She went to Chiago Ridge the next day and brought them to Tinley Park so he could try them on and we could order them. That’s great customer service!We went this morning to his second class and he worked with Nicole. Half way through she came out to give me an update and to give him a break. She said he was close and that they still had a little more time to work. He came out about 5 minutes later with one in and he was so excited. He went back and a few minutes later he came out and the other one was in! She knew he needed that little break! She was amazing with him, patient and kind as well. She even called Maria to let her know that he got his contacts in today. We have had a great experience with this practice. Maria & Nicole were great to work with as I’m sure their whole team is!"

"Dr Ticho is a fantastic doctor that goes out his way to help patients. During my visit, he and all but one on his team made sure the history for my condition was gathered... proper tests were taken on my eyes... and details were provided and explained for my condition. Dr Ticho answered every question I had. I appreciate his amazing care and that of the medical assistant I initially saw.I'm very concerned about the lack of compassion received by a doctor that reviewed my case before I talked to Dr Ticho. Without seeing the results of my tests, that other doctor proclaimed with a cocky smile that my eyes were bad and I probably needed surgery. I was told on 11/21/25 by staff that on 9/30/25 the two doctors that saw me were Dr Ayham Bwidani and Dr Ticho. However, I could not locate a Dr Bwidani as being associated to this business nor listed as a staff member on their website. Based on online pictures I've seen on the business website, I believe the other doctor that saw me and acted in a negative way was Dr Darin Strako.Nevertheless, whomever the doctor was, I would not want to ever have this person work with me or any other patient due to their lapse in judgement blurting out results without test documentation to back it up. This was careless and heartless. As a result, I've decided at this time not to return to this office.This was my first visit to this office and I must stress Dr Ticho was kind, respectful, and did an outstanding job."
